The IT Senior System Analyst will work closely with business owners to understand business processes, workflows, and their relationships to current and future software solutions. This role will create detailed business requirements, system documentation, and implement quality software solutions while utilizing multiple techniques to elicit, document, and validate requirements with stakeholders. The position primarily supports manufacturing operations, engineering, product data management (PDM), materials management, supply chain, and ERP business processes at the Murfreesboro, Tennessee facility. While the role participates in projects and continuous improvement initiatives, its primary responsibility is providing day-to-day operational support to ensure stable, efficient, and effective business operations. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted partner to business leaders and users, translating operational needs into practical technology solutions that improve productivity, data integrity, and overall business performance.

This position is required to be 100% onsite in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

YOUR IMPACT:

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

  • Serve as the primary Digital Technology liaison for the Murfreesboro manufacturing facility, providing day-to-day support for manufacturing, engineering, product data management (PDM), materials management, supply chain, and ERP-related business processes.

  • Partner with business users and subject matter experts to identify, document, validate, and prioritize business requirements, process improvements, and system enhancements.

  • Troubleshoot and coordinate resolution of application, process, integration, and data issues impacting business operations.

  • Analyze current and future-state business processes and develop functional specifications, process documentation, and business requirements.

  • Support and maintain critical master data, including item masters, bills of material (BOM), routings, inventory, and related manufacturing and supply chain data.

  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and cross-functional discussions between business stakeholders and Digital Technology teams.

  • Support system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives, including testing, training, deployment, and post-go-live support.

  • Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities to ensure solutions meet business requirements.

  • Coordinate with project managers, technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver technology solutions and resolve operational issues.

  • Create and maintain business process documentation, training materials, standard operating procedures, and other project-related documentation.

  • Support change management activities and assist with end-user training and knowledge transfer.

  • Participate in off-shift support activities as required to support manufacturing operations, system implementations, and critical business initiatives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.

  • Four (4) or more years of experience in Business Analysis, Information Technology, or in a related area.

  • Ability to travel up to 20% depending on business needs.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations, engineering, product data management (PDM), materials management, and supply chain business functions.

  • Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (8.12 or higher), SAP, or similar ERP platforms.

  • Understanding of manufacturing cost accounting concepts and operational workflows.

  • Experience working in a multi-site manufacturing environment with multiple branches and/or companies within an ERP system.

  • Familiarity with engineering change management, item master maintenance, bills of material (BOM), routings, and product lifecycle processes.

  • Experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Experience working within Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.

  • Knowledge of reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Showcase Query, ReportsNow (DAS), SQL Query.

  • Strong facilitation, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • This role is primarily performed in a professional office environment with standard lighting, ventilation, and temperature-controlled settings.

  • Duties are largely sedentary , requiring extended periods of sitting and using a computer and telephone.

  • Visual acuity to operate a computer and read documents is required , along with auditory ability to participate in virtual and in-person meetings.

  • Occasional movement within the office environment is necessary, including walking short distances, standing, or reaching for files.

Pay Range:

$92,600.00 - $154,400.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
