This role is based in the Information Technology Operations and supports the Chicago Assembly facility where exciting new vehicles for the North American consumer market are produced. As a member of the Plant IT team, you will assist the plant in producing these vehicles and support the IT Infrastructure & Applications used in the manufacturing process. The role offers a unique opportunity to apply IT skills in a manufacturing environment and gain valuable industry experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Experience with server administration; Windows (2016) and/or Linux
- Familiarity with Cisco routers and switches, including basic staging, troubleshooting, and cable installation
- Knowledge of Windows server and Windows Active Directory/ADFS
- Experience with VM servers (vSphere)
- Experience with Office365 and SharePoint
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications- Willingness to learn Cisco software-defined architecture (SDA) troubleshooting and implementation
- Experience with Android and iOS, iPhones, iPads
- Experience with handheld scanners and imagers
- Plant floor automation experience (Control systems, PLCs) is highly desired but not required
- PowerShell scripting is desired but not required
- Provide technical support for IT applications, infrastructure, operating systems, and end-user productivity tools throughout the manufacturing plant
- Interface with corporate IT and business owners to prioritize improvement efforts
- Support Plant Floor Systems and Corporate teams in resolving incidents
- Focus on the integration and long-term maintenance of applications and hardware
- Assist the site IT manager with managing assignments and workload
- Develop, maintain, and share accurate support documentation
