Our client in the insurance space is seeking an Enterprise Cloud Architect to join their team. In this role, you will be part of a team supporting new initiatives and projects. The ideal candidate will have the below skillset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Enterprise Cloud Architect
Location: Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid schedule)
Pay Range: 85/hour
Whats the Job?
- Maintains an end-to-end view of the enterprise cloud landscape (AWS, Azure, SaaS, hybrid) aligned to business and technology strategy.
- Sets cloud architecture standards aligned to AWS/Azure Well-Architected and Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework.
- Directs cloud service selection, SaaS adoption, and platform reuse to optimize cost and reduce duplication.
- Develops reference patterns for serverless, containers, event-driven, integration, and data platforms.
- Embeds cross-cloud security and compliance controls (identity, encryption, logging, data protection) with Security and Network partners.
Whats Needed?
- Multi-cloud expertise across AWS and Azure (compute, networking, data, integration, identity/security).
- Experience with SaaS/PaaS architectures and enterprise integration patterns.
- Strong grounding in application architecture (microservices, APIs, event-driven, data platforms).
- TOGAF 9.2 Certified, Archimate 3.2 (Trained/Experienced) preferred.
- Familiarity with DevOps (CI/CD, IaC) and Agile delivery practices.
