Our client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong Electrical Engineering background to lead the design and development of embedded software, control systems, and test plforms for high-voltage and power electronic products. In this role, you will act as a technical leader, mentoring engineers and serving as a key bridge between hardware, firmware, and applicion software teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, design, and implemention of embedded software and control algorithms for power and high-voltage systems.

Collabore closely with electrical and hardware engineers on system requirements, hardware/software interfaces, and design trade-offs.

Develop and maintain firmware for microcontrollers and real-time systems, including communicion, control loops, and safety feures.

Design and build internal tools for automed testing, verificion, da collection, and diagnostics of power electronic systems.

Drive root-cause analysis and resolution of complex system issues involving both software and hardware.

Review code and designs, set best practices, and mentor junior engineers in software engineering and embedded development.

Contribute to product roadmaps, estimion, and planning with cross-functional stakeholders (engineering, product, manufacturing, quality).

Ensure compliance with relevant safety, regulory, and quality standards for products in reguled industries.

Qualificions

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or reled field; Masters degree preferred.

5+ years of professional software development experience, with least 3 years in embedded or hardware-reled environments.

Strong proficiency in C/C++; experience with Python or similar scripting languages for tooling and automion.

Solid understanding of circuits, power electronics fundamentals, and hardware design constraints.

Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, communicion protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN), and hardware bring-up.

Proficiency with laborory and debugging equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters) and low-level debugging techniques.

Demonstred experience leading technical projects and mentoring other engineers.

Strong communicion skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualificions

Experience with high-voltage systems, power supplies, motor drives, or similar power electronic products.

Knowledge of real-time opering systems (RTOS) and safety-critical or high-reliability systems.

Familiarity with tools such as LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar engineering and test plforms.

Experience in reguled industries (medical, aerospace, industrial safety) and associed compliance standards.

Background in developing automed test infrastructure for production and validion.
