Duties and Responsibilities

Network Design and Implemention:

  • Design and deploy scalable and efficient network solutions to meet business needs.
  • Configure and install network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

Security Management:

  • Implement and manage network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber thres.
  • Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

Technical Leadership and Mentorship:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and team members.
  • Mentor and coach less experienced staff in technical skills and best practices.
  • Conduct knowledge sharing sessions and contribute to team skill development.

Advanced Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:

  • Investige and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot escaled problems from junior engineers, other IT teams, or end-users.
  • Analyze system logs, performance metrics, and other diagnostic tools for root cause analysis.

Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

  • Monitor network performance using various diagnostic tools and address any issues promptly.
  • Troubleshoot network problems and implement solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.

Project Management and Planning:

  • Lead and manage IT projects, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Coordine with stakeholders, vendors, and other departments for project execution.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet technical requirements.

Documention and Knowledge Management:

  • Maintain comprehensive documention of network configurions, procedures, and policies.
  • Upde knowledge base articles and technical documention.
  • Ensure documention is accure, up-to-de, and accessible to team members.

Continuous Improvement and Innovion:

  • Identify opportunities for automion, process improvement, and innovion.
  • Implement solutions to streamline operions and enhance productivity.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:

  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures.
  • Test and valide disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.
  • Participe in incident response and recovery efforts during network outages or emergencies.

Qualificions

Educion

  • Associe degree or bachelor degree in Computer Science, Informion Technology, or a reled field, preferred; or equivalent training and/or experience.

Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years of working experience in a management-level IT position within a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.

License(s)/Certificion(s)

  • N/A

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Advanced knowledge of enterprise network architecture including WAN/LAN, da center, cloud networking, SD-WAN, and core infrastructure technologies.
  • Knowledge of network security principles including segmention, firewalls, IDS/IPS, secure connectivity, and disaster recovery/business continuity practices.
  • Ability to design, implement, and optimize complex network environments with focus on performance, scalability, QoS, and capacity planning.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose complex network issues, interpret performance da, and implement root-cause solutions.
  • Ability to lead technical initiives, collabore across IT/business teams, and effectively communice technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to support operional governance including documention, metrics/reporting, vendor evaluion, and long-term network stregy execution.
