A public sector organization in the Cayce, SC area is seeking a Data Quality Manager for a long-term contract opportunity with potential for full-time hire. The Data Quality Manager will serve as a key data steward across operational and analytical systems, leading initiatives that improve data accuracy, consistency, and usability. Key Responsibilities

- Lead data quality improvement initiatives and projects across the organization.
- Establish, maintain, and improve data governance protocols, standards, procedures, and validation processes.
- Meet with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, understand data needs, and translate business goals into practical data solutions.
- Analyze data to identify trends, inconsistencies, anomalies, and root causes of data quality issues.
- Create dashboards, reports, and performance metrics that provide real-time visibility into data quality and program effectiveness.
- Partner with technical and non-technical teams to improve data trust, reduce operational risk, and enhance reporting capabilities.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
- Assignment Type: Long-term contract with potential for full-time hire.
- Location: Cayce, SC.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Lead data quality improvement projects across operational and analytical systems.
- Develop data governance standards, monitoring processes, and remediation workflows.
- Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support data-driven decision making.
- Conduct stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and define reporting needs.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in data quality, data governance, data management, reporting, analytics, or a related area.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to identify data trends, inconsistencies, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Experience translating business requirements into data quality rules, reporting solutions, or automated validation processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage priorities, coordinate projects, and support cross-functional data initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience leading data quality, data governance, or data management initiatives.
- Experience with project management or project coordination.
- Experience creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations for business or public sector stakeholders.
- Experience using Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Power Automate.
- Prior experience in a government, public sector, regulated, or process-driven environment.
