Role : Azure Architect

Location : New york City, New york

Project Scope: We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to lead the migration of a security platform from an on-premise environment to a private cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud architecture, containerization, DevOps practices, and modern AI-driven tools to accelerate migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and design the migration of security platforms from on-premises to Azure private cloud environments.
* Architect scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions aligned with business requirements.
* Implement and manage containerized applications using OpenShift.
* Drive DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline design and automation.
* Leverage AI-based tools and accelerators to optimize and expedite migration processes.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, infrastructure, and application development stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with cloud security standards and best practices.
* Troubleshoot and optimize cloud deployments for performance and cost efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, specifically private cloud architectures.
* Hands-on expertise in OpenShift / Kubernetes container platforms.
* Proven experience in DevOps methodologies and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
* Experience in cloud migration strategies (rehost, refactor, replatform).
* Familiarity with AI/ML-based tools used for automation and migration acceleration.
* Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks and best practices.
* Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
* Experience working with security platforms or sensitive enterprise applications.

* Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or ARM templates
