Role: Cloud Developer / Cloud Solution Architect

Location: Denver, CO- Hybrid Role

Duration: 6 months with possible extension

Remote: Monday and Friday

Onsite Requirement: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Job description:

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Azure development and cloud solution architecture, with the ability to design, build, and support scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based applications and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, build, and deploy scalable and reliable applications in a cloud environment, leveraging Azure
2. Develop interoperability between cloud and on-premises environments, as well as new cloud-native functionality based on agreed design
3. Deliver solutions that meet both functional business requirements and non-functional performance and quality standards, including horizontal scaling
4. Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, including design, analysis, documentation, development, and testing
5. Architect and create cloud-based systems integrations
6. Conduct root-cause analysis and propose corrective action plans as needed
7. Create and maintain relevant technical documentation, including process flows, sequence diagrams, and other supporting artifacts

Required Qualifications / Skills

1. Strong hands-on experience with C#
2. Strong experience with Microsoft Azure
3. Design, develop, and maintain Azure Functions using C#
4. Build serverless, event-driven workflows using Azure triggers and bindings
5. Implement and manage Azure Service Bus topics and queues for distributed applications
6. Implement structured logging and telemetry using Azure Application Insights
7. Work with Azure Blob Storage for file ingestion, archival, lifecycle management, and secure access
8. Develop solutions using Azure SQL Database
9. Apply Azure security best practices, including Managed Identities and Key Vault integration

Recommended Qualification Summary

1. 7+ years of hands-on application development experience
2. Strong Azure development and cloud solution architecture background
3. Proven experience designing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based solutions
4. Experience integrating cloud and on-premises systems
5. Experience working in Agile environments
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills
7. Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable to shifting priorities
