Job Description
Full-time opportunity for a Senior Data Scientist to join a premier economics, technology, and strategy consulting firm. This role focuses on applying advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI technologies to solve complex business, regulatory, litigation, and policy challenges involving emerging technologies, cybersecurity, competition, and digital platforms.

This is a highly visible role for an experienced data scientist who wants to work on some of the most challenging and impactful analytical problems in the market. You'll partner with economists, strategists, legal experts, and technologists to transform complex datasets into defensible insights that influence business strategy, regulatory outcomes, and high-profile litigation matters. The role offers the opportunity to build cutting-edge AI and machine learning solutions while helping shape the firm's growing data science and AI capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience

Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field
6+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Applied Analytics
2+ years of experience working within the GCC region
Strong expertise in AI/ML, NLP, statistical modeling, and advanced analytics
Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL
Experience with modern machine learning frameworks including PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, Hugging Face, and OpenAI APIs
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Experience working with scalable data technologies including Airflow, dbt, Spark, BigQuery, and Snowflake
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences
Proven leadership experience managing projects and mentoring technical teams

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience applying AI and machine learning within regulated industries
Experience supporting litigation, regulatory, risk, cybersecurity, or economic analysis initiatives
Familiarity with large language models, generative AI, and agentic systems
Experience working in consulting or professional services environments
Experience building reusable analytical frameworks and internal tooling
Strong interest in emerging technology policy and digital regulation

Build, evaluate, and operationalize machine learning and LLM-based systems
Develop scalable analytical pipelines and data workflows
Apply statistical, econometric, and machine learning techniques to complex business problems
Partner with consultants, economists, and legal experts to translate technical findings into actionable recommendations
Serve as a technical advisor on AI, cybersecurity, and digital transformation engagements
Mentor junior data scientists and engineers on modeling, experimentation, and engineering best practices
Contribute to the development of internal tools, frameworks, and reusable analytical assets
Present analytical findings to both technical and executive audiences
Participate in thought leadership and knowledge-sharing initiatives across the firm's AI and data science community
