Enterprise Wealth Management (EWM) is dynamic and evolving business line under the Zions umbrella that is experiencing significant growth and innovation. EWM offers comprehensive financial services to affluent, high-net-worth individuals, families, and businesses. These services include personalized investment strategies, financial planning, estate and tax planning, succession planning, and risk management. The primary goal of a wealth management group is to help clients grow and preserve their wealth while providing expert guidance to navigate complex financial situations and achieve their long-term financial objectives.

We are currently seeking a Business Analyst as part of our Wealth Management team who can drive efficiency improvements by using various automation tools available such as Power BI dashboards, Power Automate and Power Apps. EWM is in a growth-oriented business; be a part of the team creating economies of scale and the foundation for operational processes.

Wealth Management is a strategic focus and growth opportunity for Zions Bancorporation, an organization that expands across eight affiliate banks in the Western United States. A key role for this position is representing the business line in overseeing the integration of Wealth Data into the Bancorporations Data Warehouse. The Business Analyst will:

  • Drive efficiency improvements in the organization in Wealth Managements operational, trading and administrator processes.
  • Produces, publishes, and distributes operational dashboards and reports relating to the development and performance of Wealth products and processes.
  • Represent Wealth Management in overseeing the integration of Wealth Data into the Bancorporations Data Warehouse.
  • Analyzes and interprets data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for the Wealth business and its affluent clients.
  • Communicates analysis and interpretation to appropriate audience.
  • Reviews, analyzes and evaluates business processes, procedures and user needs.
  • Provides data analysis to support, compile and report key information for Wealth operations and business objectives.
  • Performs Wealth project management leadership functions as a project manager or team member.
  • Manages risk and develops dashboards to appropriately mitigate risk for reg 9 reviews, administrative reviews, trading and operational activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on technical experience in creating Power BI dashboards, Power Automate, Power Apps, data integration, Dremio and SQL.
  • High level expertise with Microsoft Excel, including the use of macros, pivot tables, etc.
  • Requires a Bachelor's business, finance or a related field and
  • 6-8+ years experience in business process analysis, gathering and documenting business requirements or other directly related experience.
  • A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
  • Working knowledge of data file integrations and data mapping and mining.
  • Experience in analysis of business process and workflow and/or process improvement recommendations.
  • Working knowledge of business processes analysis, business workflow and process improvement recommendations.
  • Knowledge of department specific processes, computer or systems applications or other knowledge skills or abilities may apply.
  • Ability to solve problems including multiple priorities and research conflicting and/or inaccurate data.
  • Solid analysis and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines.
