Were looking for a Desktop Special Delivery to join our team.
Our desktop support technicians are responsible for providing onsite support to our external customer providing support for technology issues. They ensure proper day-to-day operation of applications and equipment and troubleshooting onsite software and hardware issues on laptops, desktops, tablets, smartphones, and/or printers. They also provide smart hands support for network equipment to perform updates, repairs, upgrades, back ups and other maintenance tasks. AS the first point of contact for technical support and service requests they may provide assistance via phone or email as well.
Responsibilities:
Primary duty is machine imaging and configurations for user and pre-configs
Configure, repair and ship all equipment according to SLAs (HP, Dell, Apple devices)
Service Now ticketing system for ticket assignments, updates and status
Provide Next Day SLAs for standard configurations
Check in/ QA all returned equipment daily
Assist with receiving and stocking Inventory
Follow checklist and all procedures accurately provided by the team leader and client
Hardware Repairs- ordering parts and replacing onsite (mostly HP and Chromebook)
Skills & Qualifications:
Certifications- A+, HP certification to perform onsite hardware repairs
Apple knowledge is essential
Limited to no end user client interaction
Other duties as assigned
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Maintain highest level of customer satisfaction
Communicate effectively with management, team lead and team members
Represent CompuCom in a professional and businesslike manner
Wage Range :
The hourly rate for this position is between $19.50 - $25.50 per hour, unless the local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
