Senior Software Developer in Test

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Senior Software Developer in Test to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Software Developer in Test, you will be integral to supporting the Sales, Service, and Marketing Technology divisions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong collaboration skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a passion for quality assurance and automation, aligning seamlessly with the organizations commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

Job Title: Senior Software Developer in Test

Location: Austin, TX (preferred; Southlake, TX as backup; not remote)

Pay Range: $60- $63

What's the Job?

• Develop AI-powered automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.

• Implement and uphold testing practices, standards, and processes, troubleshooting issues, recording results, and managing defect tracking.

• Establish metrics to measure test effectiveness, product readiness, and automation success.

• Lead and coordinate testing efforts across multiple products and projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

• Drive continuous integration and deployment strategies within a DevOps environment, utilizing tools such as Atlassian stack.

What's Needed?

• 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with extensive hands-on automation scripting experience.

• Proficiency in Java or other object-oriented programming languages, with experience in GitHub Co-pilot.

• Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Web services virtualization, and Agile development practices.

• Strong understanding of exploratory testing, bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr), and CI/CD pipelines.

• Proven leadership in mentoring teams, conducting code reviews, and managing multiple concurrent projects.
