Overview
The Head of IT for the USA Division is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring the stability, consistency, and reliability of IT services across the division. This position operates within a matrix structure, reporting functionally to the Corporate CTO Office and operationally to the USA Division CEO. The role requires strong coordination with Corporate IT teams, as most infrastructure services are centrally provided.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure stability, reliability, and performance of IT services (infrastructure and applications).
- Act as primary liaison between the USA Division and Corporate IT teams.
- Oversee infrastructure services including networks, cybersecurity, risk management, telecommunications, and data centers.
- Manage support and availability of mission-critical applications in production.
- Participate and contribute to new IT and digital initiatives.
- Own and manage IT budget for the division in coordination with Corporate IT.
- Manage vendor relationships and service contracts in alignment with corporate standards.
- Develop and enhance capabilities of the local IT team.
- Ensure delivery against agreed SLAs for infrastructure and application services.
- Provide regular updates and strategic insights on IT performance to the USA Division CEO and the CTO Office.
Qualifications
Governance & Coordination
Maintain alignment with Corporate IT policies, standards, and governance frameworks. Ensure compliance in cybersecurity, risk management, and operational processes. Coordinate closely with corporate teams responsible for infrastructure, security, and applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT leadership roles managing infrastructure and application support.
- Experience in matrix organizations and working with global IT teams.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.
- Proven experience in vendor management and budget ownership.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level interaction.
