The Inventory Data Analyst will responsible for the integrity of the master data within our ERP system (SAP). This individual will be designing and managing to consistency in master data creation, changes, and deletions. Kicking off and managing projects around a clean-up of current master data (customers, materials, vendors). Establishing new processes and quality metrics around master data elements to ensure the ongoing consistencies in clear and concise data elements.

Analyzes and develops system improvements (SAP), develop trainings, notifications and starting dates, working together with improvement teams for better utilization and functionality of the proposed improvements. Provide service to all departments when it comes to the use and the manufacture system processes, through trainings and audit processes.

Material Master

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for addition and maintenance of materials in SAP
  • Review, analyze and correct anomalies in material master
  • Working with all departments on any issues that arise in their processes that are master data related.
  • Regular and consistent master data quality checks on all new and changed master data
  • Work closely with engineers, VC engineers and IT personnel to make mass changes to introduce new data or edit existing data.

Bill of Material

  • Regular analysis of BOM's for accuracy, consistency and structure to support production processes and change management.

System Cleanup

  • Analyze the system for any outstanding COGI's, clear all negative materials and ensure accuracy of inventory.

Inventory

  • Regular inventory report generation from SAP
    1. For analysis purposes as needed
    2. To assist in inventory strategies

    New Products

    • Help operations to support key business initiatives like new product launches and product transfers.

    Material Replenishment

    • Properly code material for appropriate replenishment strategies.
    • Maintain Kan Ban card database and card system.

    Procurement

    • Work closely with procurement positions to ensure timely purchasing parameter review and associated material master changes.

    Process Improvement

    • Leads process improvements that have a direct impact on the timely and accurate entry/maintenance and migration of Master Data across multiple systems and technical platforms.

    Communication

    • Communicate new processes and standards to other team members.
      Train others as required.

    Compliance

    • Ensure compliance is established for all key and relevant controls (SOX).

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Science/Engineering or related discipline.
    • Ability to quickly build and develop effective working relationships across all levels and functional areas.
    • Ability to work independently and manage conflicting priorities.
    • Ability to anticipate potential problems and identify and implement solutions.
    • Fluency in English.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 2-4 years’ experience in effectively managing master data in a complex ERP environment.
    • 1-2 years’ experience with SAP WM/PP modules.
    • Expertise with data profiling, data cleansing, and standardization.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including process documentation and presentation skills.
