Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of software developers through daily development activities and project execution.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications that support business needs and long-term scalability.
- Oversee the software development lifecycle, including planning, architecture, implementation, testing, release, and documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure adherence to quality, performance, security, and development best practices.
- Recommend process improvements, emerging technologies, and development standards to improve team efficiency and software reliability.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $65,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Lead software development projects from planning through deployment.
- Guide and mentor programmers while supporting daily development priorities.
- Build and maintain scalable software applications, APIs, and database-driven systems.
- Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver practical technical solutions.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 4 to 7+ years of software development experience, with experience level aligned to a senior or lead programming role.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with application architecture, API development, and database systems.
- Strong understanding of Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
- Ability to conduct code reviews and promote development best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced software development environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a team lead, supervisory, or technical leadership capacity.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience developing enterprise-level or scalable software systems.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity and data protection principles.
