Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Android Developer - Hybrid for a contract to hire opportunity with a Global Financial Institution located in Addison, TX.

This role is for a senior Android developer with expertise in native test automation solutions using Kotlin. The selected candidate will participate in the full application life-cycle, including developing automation scripts, testing, and releasing applications to the app store, while working with product teams on new ideas and designs. This position requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and prototype Android mobile applications for phone and tablets

Participate in the full app life-cycle: develop automation scripts, test, and release to the app store

Work with product teams on new product ideas, designs, prototypes, and estimates

Keep up to date on current and uing features in relevant products and platforms

Drive the best practices approach to the continuous improvement of products, processes, and tools

Write and maintain documentation for all features in development

Collaborate with the design team to define app features

Ensure quality and performance of the application to specifications

Maintain the code and atomization of the application

Requirements:

5-7 years of professional experience

5+ years of experience on Android Platforms, developing with Kotlin and/or Java

Must have development experience in Core Java

Must have experience writing automated tests using frameworks like Appium

Experience designing and building native mobile applications on the Android platform

Proficient in Kotlin, Objective-C, Swift, Swift UI, Web Services, and Rest Services

Proficient in code versioning tools including Git and Bitbucket

Extensive knowledge of XCode

Knowledge of C-based libraries

Familiarity with Biometrics, push notifications, and usage of Camera APIs

Desired skills:

Mobile Test Automation with Appium on Android and iOS platforms

Experience with continuous integration and unit tests

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment

Strong written and verbalmunication skills

Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution

Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour
