Community Care is hiring a Software Developer I. Software Developer I Job Responsibilities:
- Learn about critical internally developed sites and web applications.
- Plays a key role in the support of internally developed applications by triaging and resolving incoming help desk tickets by working directly with users to understand problems they may encounter
- Consistently deliver documentation as work is completed.
- Work closely with business and Information Services (IS) support teams to provide support and help attain their business objectives
- Actively participate in daily Stand Up, Retro/Planning and team meetings.
- Selected development activities associated with internal sites and applications
Experience & Required Skills:
One year of direct programming/analysis experience and exposure to a major reporting package such as SQL Server Reporting Services (or similar package).
Demonstrated working knowledge:
- JavaScript, MVC, and/or Blazor
- Data & Business analysis – an understanding of SQL and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Source Control with Microsoft Azure DevOps / Visual Studio Database Projects
- Understand strategies or approaches used to test an application, ensuring it behaves and looks as expected. Ideally in Microsoft Visual Studio.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with project team.
- Development and support of ASP.NET Core MVC solutions.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and working with cross functional teams.
- Object Oriented Programming Concepts
- SQL Server 2012/2016/2019 programming (views, stored procedures, functions)
Software Developer I Education:
- Associates Degree in Computer Science or closely related field required.
Additional Considerations:
Candidates in the process of completing and near completion of the degree requirement with at least one year of project management or an additional year of the specified experience may be considered. Equivalent work experience may satisfy degree requirement.
Software Developer I Job Schedule:
Monday-Friday; Business Hours; 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Up to 90% remote work, with on-site presence required as needed. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be necessary depending on project timelines and operational priorities.
