Senior Software Engineer
Location: 1 Freedom Valley Drive, Oaks, PA 19456
Responsibilities- Develop code based on business and functional requirements following the Agile process.
- Produce high-quality code that meets all project deadlines and matches the required functionality.
- Analyze and resolve issues discovered during testing or pre-production phases, coordinating changes with project leaders and cross-team members.
- Provide technical support to project teammates and answer inquiries about errors or program questions.
- Interact with architects, technical leads, team members, and project managers to address technical and scheduling issues.
- Suggest and implement process improvements for development and testing estimation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Five (5) years of post-baccalaureate experience with an application-development organization.
- Demonstrated experience delivering systems and projects from inception through implementation.
- Five (5) years of experience designing, developing, deploying, and configuring cloud-native applications and creating microservices with REST/JSON, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Java, and UI web frameworks.
- Proficiency with ORM tools (Hibernate, JPA) and relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server).
- Experience with unstructured data persistence models such as MongoDB and Snowflake.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps toolsets for versioning and containers (Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins).
- Knowledge of event/data streaming platforms such as Kafka.
