As a Software Engineer at MFC, you will join one of the largest networks of software professionals, implementing cutting edge technologies on both existing and new development platforms. You will be helping us solve the worlds most difficult challenges supporting such wide-ranging domain areas such as aircraft flight command and control, air traffic control, health care, and homeland defense. What You Will Be Doing

As a Software Engineering Architect, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

-Lead/Develop Embedded Software Requirements/Architecture/Design

-Integrate features/algorithms into C/C++ applications

-Plan, conduct, and coordinate technical software development activities

-Design, develop, document, test, and debug software
that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.

-Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.

-Correct program errors, prepares operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

Qualifications:

BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering or related field

Active DoD Secret clearance with investigation in last 5 years

Real time embedded software development experience is required

Linux/Xilinx tool suite

C++ and/or C computer language

SW Design/architecture experience - specifically for algorithms development and design

Experience working with HW/SW and testing in HWIL is required
