RQ Construction is looking for an IT Help Desk Technician to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. Serving as the frontline resource for technical support, you'll assist employees across our offices and active construction sites to keep operations running smoothly. Core responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues in alignment with company policy and DoD cybersecurity requirements. You'll manage the support ticket queue, deploy and maintain IT equipment, assist with onboarding new team members, and coordinate technology setups at both office and field locations - working alongside internal IT staff, project teams, and vendors to keep our technology infrastructure secure and dependable.

The company has since grown into a national contractor with projects active across the country. Specializing in accelerated delivery of new commercial construction, we work with both public and private sector clients - with a significant portion of our portfolio dedicated to the Department of Defense.
Pay: $29.00-$35.00 per hour DOE

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least three years of practical experience providing end-user support, including diagnosing hardware/software issues and managing IT devices in a professional environment
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft credentials are strongly preferred
- Experience supporting users in construction, engineering, or design-related industries is a plus
