This role partners closely with analytics, data science, product, and business teams to ensure high-quality, well-structured data is available for decision-making and operational needs.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processesDevelop and optimize data models, data warehouses, and data lakes by working with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient data engineering solutionsBuild, optimize, and deploy forecasting models using time-series modeling, machine learning, and MLOps practicesApply advanced modeling and statistical analysis to Healthcare Quality metrics spanning NCQA HEDIS measures and CMS Clinical StarsApply advanced statistical, machine learning, and deep learning methods (e.g., ARIMA, Prophet, gradient boosting, etc.)Performs code reviews and enforces coding standards, based on company and industry requirements, across the development teamsEnsure data reliability, accuracy, performance, and availability across systemsIntegrate data from multiple sources including internal systems, APIs, and third-party vendorsImplement data quality checks, monitoring, and error-handling processesCollaborate with analytics, BI, and data science teams to support reporting and advanced analyticsOptimize query performance and storage efficiencyDocument data pipelines, schemas, and engineering standardsSupport data governance, security, and compliance requirementsTroubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and system issuesRequired Qualifications3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role or equivalent experienceStrong experience with SQL and relational databasesExperience building ETL/ELT pipelines and working with large datasetsFamiliarity with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelingProficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Scala)Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skillsAdept at business intelligenceAdept at problem solving and decision-making skillsAdept at collaboration and teamworkAdept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience working within Healthcare Quality ManagementExperience with NCQA HEDIS and other quality metricsHands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)Exposure to data governance, metadata management, and security best practicesEducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or related STEM field. Equivalent work experience.Anticipated Weekly Hours40Time TypeFull timePay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$83,430.00 - $222,480.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
