Grainger, Inc. is seeking a Business Systems Analyst Senior - GUS with the following duties: work primarily within the SAP S/4HANA ERP platform, with a specific focus on Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) custom development. The integrated system processes referenced in the job duties such as SD (Sales & Distribution) and MM (Materials Management) represent the cross-functional business process landscape within which the beneficiary's configuration and development work will operate. Type of Processes: The beneficiary will design and implement solutions spanning the following SAP functional and technical processes: Inbound and outbound warehouse processes within SAP EWM, including goods receipt, putaway, picking, packing, and goods issue workflows Order-to-cash and procure-to-pay cross-functional process integration between SD and MM modules ABAP custom development, including the design and implementation of custom programs, enhancements, BAPIs, user exits, and interfaces Hyperscale cloud support, supporting SAP workloads on hyperscale infrastructure environments Type of Projects: The beneficiary will lead and contribute to full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation and support projects using Agile methodology, including sprint planning, iterative development, and continuous delivery cycles. Specific project activities will include: Greenfield and brownfield SAP S/4HANA implementations and system migrations EWM design, configuration, and deployment projects Custom ABAP development projects, including roadmap design and coordination with functional domain leads. Integration projects involving interface partners like middleware, and third-party systems like Exotec Robotic systems. Pre-go-live activities and Post-go-live hypercare and continuous improvement engagements Products Designed, Developed, and Tested: The beneficiary's work product will include custom ABAP programs and enhancements, functional and technical design specifications, EWM configuration documentation, test scripts, defect triage reports and interface design documents. The beneficiary will also contribute to standardized configuration templates and documentation frameworks used across project teams. Areas, Fields, and Industries: The beneficiary will work in the field of enterprise software development and ERP systems implementation, supporting the Employer's operations across industries that rely on complex warehouse management, supply chain, and financial compliance processes, including manufacturing, logistics, distribution, and retail. The work requires specialized expertise in SAP S/4HANA architecture, ABAP programming, EWM functional configuration, and cross-functional systems integration. Leads solution design and cross-functional configuration work. Serves as a subject matter expert and drives improvement of key processes and standards; Design and implement complex configuration solutions across integrated system processes (e.g., SD + MM); Lead requirement gathering sessions and facilitate alignment across business and IT; Perform root cause analysis on issues and identify long-term fixes or design enhancements; Act as subject matter expert (SME) for specific functional areas or business processes; Coordinate with developers, testers, and interface partners to deliver complete solutions; Support test planning and execution, including defect triage and test coverage assurance; Contribute to standardization of configuration and documentation practices; Assist with evaluation of emerging technologies, tools or processes and advocate for adoption when valuable. REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field plus 3 years of related experience. Will accept any level of experience in the following skills: Implement, configure, and develop S4 HANA projects with Agile methodology; Implement, configure and develop EWM objects with Agile methodology; Provide Hyperscale support; Work on different processes of EWM which includes inbound process and outbound process; Implement and support SAP ABAP Projects; Work as an ABAP lead implementing, configuring, and designing road maps for SAP projects and coordinating with domain leads to be involved in designing IFRS16 reporting and month end activities. 30% domestic travel required to support end users. 100% remote work allowed from anywhere in the U.S. COMPENSATION: The anticipated base pay range for this position is $130,707 to $134,500 which reflects the potential base pay at the time of this posting. Base pay will depend on factors such as work location, relevant experience, and skills.
