Sr. QA Automation Engineer absiusa Columbus, OH Job Details Contract $1 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Database testing Automation software Bachelor's degree Continuous integration APIs Quality check automation Test validation method Validation design Full Job Description Engagement Type Contract This position will function as a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist with responsibilities that include: Lead and participate in establishing automated testing solutions Design, execute and maintain automated test scripts Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices, system test plans, system test scenarios, regression test plans and test scripts (both manual and automated) based on software requirements and technical specifications Construct workflow charts and diagrams; study system capabilities; write and refine regression test plans Document and report test results Assist with the analysis of the results of automated test scripts Assist with the analysis of bug fixes/issues, with ability to lead small groups of IT and business staff for troubleshooting, problem resolution and brainstorming for available solutions Lead and participate in system testing and ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements prior to user acceptance testing Participate in defining system implementation and user-acceptance test plans Work closely with QA Manager and Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery Work effectively in a team environment, completing assigned tasks and contributing to project planning and scheduling Exceptional skills in automated testing and QA methodologies Strong analytical, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving skills Experience mentoring QA Analysts Demonstrated ability to communicate difficult concepts to non-technical users Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements; fluency in business processes Experience with process mapping and workflow analysis Excellent documentation, communication, and presentation skills Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills Required/Desired Skills Skill Required/Desired Amount of Experience 10+ years of QA testing experience with industry standard quality assurance methodologies, verification and validation processes Required 10.0 Years Minimum of 18 months of hands-on experience with test automation development using AccelQ Required 1.5 Years 3+ years of business process analysis Required 3.0 Years Hands-on experience in test automation design and development involving GUI, API and back-end database verification Required 2.0 Years Experience with Continuous Integration testing tools Required 2.0 Years 4-year college degree in computer information systems or equivalent technical study Required
