IT Infrastructure Administrator

Principal IT Infrastructure Administrator - GovCloud, Zero Trust, CMMC, Enterprise Systems Engineering

Seeking a highly technical Principal IT Infrastructure Administrator to lead and scale secure enterprise infrastructure within a defense/aerospace engineering organization . This role is responsible for architecting and operating secure cloud platforms, enterprise systems, identity infrastructure, endpoint environments, and defense-compliant networks supporting engineering and mission-critical operations. Strong expertise with AWS GovCloud, Microsoft 365 GCC High (GCCH), Zero Trust architecture, CMMC, NIST 800-171, enterprise networking, virtualization, endpoint security, IAM, MDM, and systems automation required. Candidates should have hands-on experience managing Windows, macOS, and Linux enterprise environments , supporting engineering collaboration platforms, DevOps toolchains, PLM systems, secure repositories, and high-security infrastructure environments . Strong experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, infrastructure scripting, system hardening, patch management, backup/disaster recovery, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, SIEM/security tooling, and cloud administration essential. Ideal candidates will have recent experience building and scaling IT infrastructure in classified, defense, aerospace, or regulated engineering environments with minimal oversight.
