Position Overview The contractor shall serve as the primary .NET and Angular developer, responsible for developing, testing, and configuring applications for the Azure cloud environment. This includes back-end and front-end development, system configuration, and comprehensive testing. Specific activities include but are not limited to: Core Responsibilities Develop Web Applications: Using .NET and Angular technologies to build robust and scalable web applications. Participate in Architectural Discussions: Working with the GPO IT and project teams to develop application architecture and ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment. Environment Setup: Standing up all environments, including development, staging/test, production, and COOP. Maintain Applications: Developing and maintaining front-end and back-end applications and services. Implement Modules: Integrating third-party modules and developing custom modules according to GPO's needs. Manage Code Versioning and Deployments: Following GPO's configuration management policies for code versioning and deployments. Security Implementation: Making code or system changes to address GPO security recommendations. Documentation: Creating and maintaining detailed technical support, high-level design, and detailed design documents. Testing: Conducting multiple levels of testing, including unit, system, integration, performance, and load testing. User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Assisting with UAT, recording, and implementing changes resulting from UAT. Defect Management: Participating in defect management discussion with the project management team to ensure defects are tracked and remedied. Progress Reporting: Communicating progress and/or schedule delays to GPO with efficiency and accuracy. Iterative Updates: Making iterative updates to deliverables as needed throughout the agile process.
