Position Summary

In this position, you will serve as the primary IT Security Architect for the Department of Financial Institutions with responsibility for operating and maturing the agency's cybersecurity program.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Designing, implementing, governing and maintaining IT security systems architecture and efforts
  • Managing Security Incident Prevention, Response, and Remediation efforts
  • Conducting IT security initiatives and project analysis

Salary Information

This position is in schedule-range (07-33) with an annual salary of $87,360 - $108,160 (or $42 - $52 per hour), plus excellent benefits. A twelve-month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.

Qualifications

Minimally qualified candidates must detail having experience in all of the following in order to be considered:

  • Implementing and/or supporting Zscaler security solutions for web filtering
  • Conducting IT risk assessments and/or IT system vulnerability remediations to ensure alignment with IT security standards and/or compliance requirements
  • Identifying, triaging and remediating IT security incidents
  • Troubleshooting complex technical issues (e.g., escalated incidents) that span across network, server, or application environments
