Position Summary
- Participates in end user's discussions regarding workflows associated with upcoming enhancements or system changes. Supports the evaluation, testing, and implementation of defect patches, system upgrades and releases according to the Information Services support model and change control procedures.
- Ability to analyze and resolve simple issues.
- Stays informed on current market trends and emerging technology developments that impact individual work. Recognizes sources of available information and establishes facts to recommend solutions. adherence to change management standards and established Service Level Agreement (SLA) for incidents and requests Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication.

This position is required to rotate on-call responsibilities.

Ambulatory Team
Pharmacy Applications Team
- Epic Electronic Medical Record, specifically Epic Willow Inpatient and Epic Willow Ambulatory and Pharmacy Inventory, and associated Epic reporting tools such as Reporting Workbench and SlicerDicer (Med Administration, Order, & Dispensing), integrated third party applications and content such as ScriptPro Robotics (automate fills at the Employee Clinic), BD Pyxis Medstations used at all hospitals and select clinics, BD Logistics Inventory across all hospitals, Pak-Edge Unit Dose Packager, Abacus TPN Dispensing System, Dr. First used for pulling Med History information, StatStock to assist with med crash cart kits for quicker drug replenishments, Medi-Dose (MILT) repackage solid orals with unit dose meds for barcode administration labeling, Macro Helix used for 340B support, and First Data Bank (FDB) as the base of all medications (inpatient and outpatient) including allergens and interaction records, as well as Lexidrug med reference links on medications.
Minimum Requirements
- Associate degree or higher or equivalent work, training and experience required.
- Ability to provide value-added support to one or more applications.
- Independently motivated to seek knowledge through self-education, mentoring, etc. in areas pertaining to their current position.
- Obtains and maintains current certification/accreditation from the vendor and continued education/learning to understand the functionality of applications(s) supported as applicable to the job role.
For individuals clinically trained:
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of clinical scope of practice and workflows for roles within clinical setting.
- Ability to communicate clinical concepts to technical team.
- Understands application and clinical workflow.
Application Analyst I & II are required to complete and maintain one primary Epic Certification/Accreditation as determined by manager. Epic Certification is obtained through onsite training in Madison, WI, and Accreditation is achieved through remote training. The class content is the same for both certification and accreditation. Team members must achieve minimal required score on their application project and test. See alternative requirements below.
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field preferred
- Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Epic Willow Ambulatory Certification
- Training in system analysis preferred
- Experience as analyst implementing and testing vendor packaged software applications preferred Experience in health care setting preferred.
Pay Range
$68,806.40 - $100,294.48
