In order to achieve our common goals, we count on you
- Analyze requests received by the Service Desk through various channels (hotline, email, ticketing system) in accordance with troubleshooting guidelines, defined objectives, and SLAs, while adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
- Act as the first point of contact for IT users, providing immediate first-level support and solutions to end users.
- Accept, categorize, and process incidents and service requests, resolving simpler tickets independently.
- Perform password resets and account activation/deactivation.
- Handle and resolve issues related to email accounts.
- Maintain the knowledge base to ensure it remains accurate and up to date.
- Process incidents and escalate them in writing to experienced colleagues and the Functional Lead when necessary.
- Carry out basic application installations and assign user permissions.
- Provide support to Service Desk Agent colleagues.
What you will need for successful work
- You enjoy helping others solve problems (at work, in school, with family & friends)
- You can stay calm and friendly even when someone is stressed or frustrated
- You can explain tech in simple language, without jargon
- You're curious and not afraid to say "I don't know yet, but I'll find out"
- Basic comfort with computers (Windows, browsers, Office/M365 or similar)
- Excellent language skills in German and English language skills required
- Proficiency in basic IT concepts and operations from an end-user perspective.
