Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QA team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
• Develop, implement, and maintain QA processes, standards, and best practices
• Create and review test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional and regression testing
• Coordinate and prioritize testing activities based on project timelines and business needs
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality requirements are met
• Perform root cause analysis of recurring issues and recommend improvements
• Oversee manual and automated testing efforts
• Ensure timely execution of testing cycles and release validation
• Monitor QA metrics and provide regular status reports to management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3-7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing
• 1-3+ years of leadership or team lead experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, QC)
• Familiarity with automation testing tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
