HVAC Controls Systems Engineer

Duration: 3 Months Location: Fargo, ND Work Mode: Onsite (M–F)

Lead onsite HVAC/Building Automation projects from design through commissioning and closeout. Responsible for controls programming, system implementation, customer coordination, project execution, financial performance, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

• Manage HVAC controls projects, schedules, and customer communications.
• Perform/control hardware design, programming, installation coordination, commissioning, and project closeout.
• Oversee subcontractors, installers, technicians, and designers.
• Manage project costs, billing, collections, and change orders.
• Ensure safety, quality, warranty support, and regulatory compliance.

• Associate degree in a technical field + 2 years of relevant experience OR 4+ years of equivalent Building Automation/HVAC Controls experience.
• Experience programming HVAC/building automation control systems.
• 2+ years of project management experience.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC controls design, implementation, and commissioning.
• Knowledge of project accounting and cost management.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to travel using personal vehicle.
