The Lockheed Martin Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) IRAD team is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Leader to be part of a team developing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity.
Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full time Software Engineering Manager. In this role, you will support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, object oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery.
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of languages such as C or C++. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require Final Secret government security clearance prior to starting. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
- Experience working embedded software development
- Experience leading software development teams and projects
- Experience with staffing and talent development- Working knowledge of C++.
- Understanding of the full software lifecycle (design, development, integration, test, qualification).
- Experience with Agile SW development environments.
- Ability to translate technical details into clear documentation.
