IT Project Manager III

A Kforce client has an exciting opportunity for an IT Project Manager III. This is a contract role, with no guarantee to convert to a full-time role, but it is possible in the future. The candidate can sit remote, with an on-site expectation once per month. Monthly onsite requirement may be in San Antonio, Dallas or Houston, TX. The Project Manager II will be working on IT projects, both applications and infrastructure implementations and upgrades.* Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience

• 2-5+ years of experience independently managing small to medium sized projects
• Knowledge of Project Management disciplines
• Knowledge of Software development lifecycle
• Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Intermediate-level proficiency in MS Project
• Project schedule development and management
• Project resource management

Ideally will have:

• PMP certification
• CSM or PMI-ACP is preferred
• IT PM experience in banking/finance
