Do you enjoy working with clients to understand their website requirements, present creative solutions, and see a project through from inception to completion?

Do you have experience in maintaining existing code and managing servers that provide services to departments and units?

The SAAS Web Developer plays a vital role in supporting Student Affairs and Academic Services (SAAS ) by ensuring systems operate seamlessly and efficiently. This position offers hands-on experience in coding, troubleshooting, and server management while working alongside a collaborative team dedicated to making an immediate and meaningful impact. Primary Duties:

Developing and maintaining code on web servers and application servers that service Student Affairs and Academic Services (SAAS ).

Support the deployment process of completed projects, ensuring smooth transition from development to production.

Use JavaScript, HTML , CSS , and other front-end technologies to develop and enhance applications within the Student Affairs domain.

Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

Preferred Qualifications

Networking knowledge, comfort with command line interfaces, Office 365 application experience, a curiosity for finding unique solutions.

Experience working independently and collaboratively with information architects, back-end developers, and broad cross-functional teams

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Demonstrated understanding of user-centered design, a clean design aesthetic, and a passion for creating great user experiences.

Working knowledge of web technologies, languages, and best practices.

Strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Ability to work as a team player, demonstrate personal initiative and assist colleagues.

Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
