14583 - .NET Application Architect (Onsite) - Tallahassee, FL Start Date : ASAP Type: Temporary Project Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions Work Setting : (100% of the time at the Client's site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.) Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration. Required: Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL (required); Experience with IT architecture design, software development, database management systems, and systems integration in multi-platform environments (5-7 years); Experience with Microsoft C#.Net, MVC, jQuery, and Responsive Design; Experience with Microsoft SQL Server; Experience with Oracle; Experience with Microsoft Azure; Experience with Visual Studio 2012 and later; Experience with HTML; Experience with Test Driven Development and Unit Testing methodology; Experience with Waterfall and/or Agile development environments. Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio; Experience with PowerPoint and SharePoint; Experience with Team Foundation Server. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Gather business requirements and translate them into Internet/Web architecture to achieve business objectives; Establish and manage a formalized solution architecture for software application development projects; Analyze assigned specifications and develop solutions utilizing appropriate Internet/Intranet/Extranet architecture processes; Ensure proposed systems are fully compatible and integrated with current software, hardware, and existing operating environments; Design and develop prototypes, system design deliverables, and application systems deliverables; Oversee and participate in code reviews, and mentor junior developer team members; Provide weekly progress/status reports and monthly timesheets of hours worked on assigned tasks.
