Job Summary:
To support, install, configure, monitor, and maintain desktop hardware and software, provide 2nd-tier Service Desk support, and manage mobile devices.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide Tier 2 support for the Service Desk through phone and field operations.
- Support and maintain desktop hardware and peripherals, including lifecycles, driver/firmware updates, and functional troubleshooting.
- Maintain and support end user software through license management, application lifecycle, security updates, version/feature updates, and compatibility verification.
- Manage and maintain mobile phones and data devices through procurement, asset management, billing, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain and support the Service Desk management applications and systems.
- Work with the Bureau of Elections in support of Election Day processes.
- Participate in training, seminars, and meetings as required.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
Minimum Requirements to Perform the Work:
Education:
- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is required.
- Certifications or 5-10 years of work experience in technical support or information technology will be considered.
Work Experience:
- 2-4 years of work experience in a technical support role.
