Senior Data Engineer

Kforce has a client seeking a remote Senior Data Engineer to join their team.

Summary:This team is assisting on building a platform that can streamline online data, processing times, and other information. They also handle data for other groups, where they curated a ton of data for ML models that can predict certain location metrics. This person will be responsible for building ETL pipelines, data models (in SQL/GCP), joining tables and data sets, and then using python, airflow for orchestration, and will be working with various data sources. On a daily basis, they will be doing complex SQL and curation of data for various orgs at the client. Lastly, this team thrives off of their culture and they are looking for strong communication, presentation skills, candidates that are ambitious, coachable and willing to learn.* 4-5+ years of data engineering experience

• Extremely strong in SQL (be able to tune queries properly, write complex queries, join tables, etc.)
• Experience with ETL processes
• Python experience
• Strong Communication - ability to communicate with the business and stakeholders
• Experience in retail/supply chain a plus
• GCP experience with BigQuery) a plus
• Experience in creating pipelines for data extraction, cleansing, and movements (airflow) a plus
