Computer Systems Analyst

Job Title: Entry-Level Computer Systems Analyst Location: Birmingham, AL Duration: 12+ Months

Summary: Seeking an entry-level Systems Analyst to support utility vegetation management operations through data processing, reporting, workflow support, system monitoring, and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor/process system requests and records
• Generate and maintain operational reports/data
• Validate automated scripts/processes and escalate issues
• Support workflows, alerts, and notifications
• Prepare/validate data for reporting and GIS/mapping systems
• Organize large datasets and improve workflows
• Create SOPs, process documentation, and knowledge articles

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing) in CS, Information Systems, GIS, Data Analytics, or related field
• Basic knowledge of data management and business systems
• Strong Excel skills
• Analytical, detail-oriented, multitasking abilities

Preferred Skills:

• SQL, Python, PowerShell, automation exposure
• GIS/geospatial concepts
• Reporting tools, databases, enterprise applications
• Process documentation/workflow standardization
