QA Test Engineer

Kforce has a client seeking a QA Test Engineer in Boca Raton, FL to support web application testing initiatives. This role is responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated test solutions to ensure high-quality product delivery across sprint cycles. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, hands-on automation experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively within an agile team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, execute, and maintain functional, regression, and sprint-level test cases
• Develop and enhance automated test frameworks using tools such as Playwright or Selenium
• Translate business requirements and acceptance criteria into clear, repeatable test scenarios
• Validate system changes, identifying defects across functionality, UI, data, and performance
• Perform backend validation using SQL queries to ensure data accuracy
• Log, track, and verify defects using a bug tracking system
• Support test planning, scheduling, and execution aligned with project timelines
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
• Utilize version control tools (e.g., GitHub) to manage test assets
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and continuous testing practices
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve testing efficiency* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in QA, software testing, or quality engineering
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or BDD frameworks
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript)
• Experience writing SQL queries for data validation
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
• Understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
• Knowledge of security and accessibility testing standards
• Experience working in agile development environments
