Job Description
An enterprise technology organization is hiring for a Business Analyst to join their Cybersecurity team in Spring, TX. This resource is expected to work onsite daily. They will be translating business requirements into simple rules, workflows, checklists, and tracking logic for control validation. They will be building and supporting basic automation workflows using Excel, SharePoint, Power Automate, and other tools for approvals, reminders, evidence tracking, status workflows, etc. They will implement simple scoring models for risk and compliance (low/medium/high, weighted scoring, prioritization logic) and using Excel formulas (IF, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUM). Perform data cleaning, validation, and structuring for risk, controls, vendors, or compliance datasets. For example, deduplication, data consistency, and field standardization. Documentation of workflow logic, scoring rules, and assumptions clearly to support repeatable processes, change tracking, and audit readiness.

Skills and Requirements
2 years of experience in Business or Data Analysis
Strong in Excel and comfortable using formulas like IF, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and SUM
Knowledge on basic automation workflows in Excel, SharePoint, Power Automate, or similar
Strong documentation skills
Experience with data cleansing or data validation
