Job Summary: Assists in the design of forms and reports for departmental performance improvement, cost reduction efforts and other departmental or hospital committees/meetings. Acquires data from primary and/or secondary data sources and analyzes and interprets it for cost savings and standardization opportunities. Perform inventory management processes in accordance with established materials management and accounting standards and requirements. Coordinates periodic inventory reconciliation and is responsible for accuracy, fill rate, and inventory turns. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in utilization of products. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications : Completion of 12th grade (high school) or equivalent required; two-year college degree or equivalent certificate or training preferred. Two years of experience in an inventory and/or distribution capacity required. Requires advanced knowledge and proficiency of computer software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, spreadsheets, and form design. Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team. Must have an analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving. Familiarity and understanding of regulatory requirements and TJC standards. Effective oral and written communication skills. Good judgment skills. Excellent organizational skills. Attention to detail.
