Salary Range: $108K - 135K - Commensurate (dependent on experience, education, and qualifications)

Your Role:

The Capture Manager, Solutions Architect is responsible for moving active opportunities forward from early qualification through proposal handoff. This role drives the pursuit plan, keeps the right people engaged, and ensures Ampirical's approach is built around what the client actually needs. Working closely with Growth Operations leadership, this person gathers client and competitive intelligence, shapes the win strategy, and coordinates the internal teams required to execute. At its core, this role exists to ensure every priority pursuit is organized, informed, and positioned to win.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive capture strategy and day-to-day progression of assigned pursuitsfrom qualification through proposal handoff, keeping Growth Operations leadership informed on status, risks, and key decisions

  • Prepare and support go/no-go discussions by compiling client intelligence,competitive insight, and risk considerations for leadership review

  • Build and maintain pursuit plans, timelines, and action items to keepnternal teams aligned and accountable to key milestones

  • Translate client requirements, scopes, and priorities into actionable pursuitstrategies for engineering, project management, estimating, and growthcontributors

  • Coordinate cross-functional contributors to ensure pursuit inputs aredelivered on time and reflect the client's stated and unstated priorities

  • Develop pursuit-specific win themes, differentiators, and positioning strategies that distinguish Ampirical's approach from the competition

  • Prepare pursuit updates and strategy materials for leadership review, including risk assessment, approach rationale, and key drivers, ensuring senior leadership maintains visibility into priority pursuit positioning

  • Maintain accurate pursuit status, client intelligence, and activity notes within CRM systems in accordance with Growth Ops standards identify risks, gaps, and timing challenges early and drive collaborative resolution across contributing teams

  • Capture lessons learned from completed pursuits and apply insights toimprove future capture execution

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management Marketing, or a related field

Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in capture, pursuit strategy, proposals, or business development support roles preferred

  • Experience leading or supporting capture efforts for RFP-driven pursuits in utilities, engineering, EPC, or infrastructure environments

  • Strong pursuit planning, organization, and coordination capabilities

  • Ability to understand technical scopes, delivery strategies, and client expectation

Communication:

  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to work effectively across technical, operational, and executive groups

Bonus:

  • Masters degree in Business Administration, Management Marketing, or a related field
