Enrollment Management invites applications for a Data and Research Analyst. Reporting to the Director of CRM Strategy and Governance, this position serves as the primary systems, data, and reporting specialist for undergraduate admissions. The Analyst develops and maintains reporting solutions, data processes, and import structures within the Technolutions Slate CRM, while supporting strategic reporting and enrollment planning initiatives in collaboration with Enrollment Management leadership.
This role partners with stakeholders to design and implement reporting frameworks, datasets, queries, and data solutions that support operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. The Data and Research Analyst also identifies innovative ways to leverage Slate functionality to improve processes, reporting capabilities, and data accessibility.
The position serves as the division's subject matter expert for Slate data imports, source formats, querying, data architecture, and reporting design.
Examples of Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain complex queries, datasets, reporting objects, and data import structures within Technolutions Slate.
Design scalable reporting frameworks that support admissions operations, recruitment tracking, and enrollment funnel management.
Analyze stakeholder needs and translate business requirements into structured reporting and data solutions.
Manage inbound data architecture, including source formats, mapping strategies, and data governance standards.
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and alignment with institutional reporting definitions and standards.
Conduct testing and troubleshooting of queries, datasets, reports, and system workflows to resolve data and reporting issues.
Collaborate with technical staff and campus partners to implement system improvements, new features, and process enhancements.
Produce recurring and ad hoc reports supporting application review, recruitment performance, communications, and enrollment tracking.
Interpret and present reporting results to support strategic planning, policy development, and enrollment decision-making.
Develop dashboards, visualizations, and comparative analyses to improve accessibility and understanding of admissions data.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and experience in systems reporting or database querying.
Knowledge of relational databases, structured data systems, reporting design principles, and data integrity practices.
Experience developing queries, datasets, and reports within CRM or database environments.
Experience translating business needs into technical reporting solutions.
Experience troubleshooting data, reporting, and system-related issues.
Experience organizing, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and concurrent projects.
Ability to analyze stakeholder needs and design effective data-processing and reporting solutions.
Ability to learn and apply complex CRM system architecture and functionality.
Ability to test, validate, and ensure accuracy of reporting outputs.
Ability to communicate technical information clearly while maintaining confidentiality and data security standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Technolutions Slate.
Experience in higher education admissions or enrollment management.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Basic SQL writing experience.

Compensation Title: Data/Research Analyst
Union: FOCUS-MFPE
Work Schedule: Full-time, 1.0 FTE (40 Hours a week), Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 12 months/year.
Probationary Period: Six (6) months minimum
Benefits Include: Insurance package, mandatory retirement plan, partial tuition waiver, and wellness program.
