PRISM Inc. is seeking a results-driven IT Project Manager to lead large-scale technology initiatives, software implementations, and infrastructure projects from inception to delivery. This role acts as the central bridge between executive leadership, engineering teams, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End SDLC Ownership: Manage full lifecycle IT projects from intake, planning, and scoping through development, deployment, and closeout.
Multi-Project Management: Simultaneously drive multiple concurrent, high-priority initiatives of varying size and complexity.
Methodology Execution: Implement Agile and Waterfall best practices to optimize team performance; lead retrospectives to foster continuous improvement.
Risk & Change Management: Proactively identify project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and utilize strict change control processes for scope deviations.
Stakeholder & Vendor Relations: Build strong relationships across the enterprise, serving as a dedicated project advocate and managing stakeholder expectations.
Tracking & Reporting: Monitor milestones using appropriate PM tools and provide clear, regular progress reports to leadership and project participants.
Team Leadership: Provide direction, support, conflict resolution, and quality assurance to cross-functional project teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Project Management, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 6+ years in technical applications/information systems, including 3+ years specifically managing IT projects.
Technical Delivery Track Record: > * Infrastructure: Data center migrations, cloud adoptions (AWS/Azure), security platforms, networking, or identity management.
Software: System integrations, portals, and core systems (e.g., Guidewire or similar).
Methodologies & Tools: Strong hands-on experience with Agile and Waterfall; proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
Core Competencies: Proven capability in people management, risk management, strategic planning, and organizational change management.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Required Qualifications: (Skills/Education)
Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance industry experience & Infrastructure experience.
Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and practices.
Certifications: PMP and/or Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, SSM) preferred.
