Back IT Manager - Network Operations IT Management St. Louis , Missouri Permanent May 21, 2026 Title IT Manager - Network Operations Location St. Louis, Missouri area Onsite / Hybrid support environment with responsibility for global network operations Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Schedule: 4:00 PM CST - 1:00 AM CST Overview This opportunity is with a large enterprise technology organization supporting complex global network operations across corporate campuses, branch locations, and data center environments. The role will lead Network Operations teams responsible for enterprise infrastructure stability, incident response, cloud networking initiatives, and operational excellence across a large-scale distributed environment. Must-Have Domains Enterprise Network Operations & Infrastructure Management LAN/WAN, Cloud Networking Support, and networking protocols, IT Operations Leadership & Incident Management Core Responsibilities Lead and manage a Network Operations team providing 24/7 support across enterprise network environments Oversee network operations supporting data centers, branch connectivity, firewalls, load balancers, and cloud networking technologies Manage escalations, critical incidents, and service delivery processes while ensuring SLA compliance and operational stability Drive operational improvements through automation, monitoring initiatives, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration Coordinate and lead network infrastructure projects, partnering with internal teams and third-party vendors to support successful execution Must-Have Experience 6+ years of experience supporting enterprise networking environments with leadership or team management responsibilities Experience supporting LAN/WAN, cloud, VPN, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and enterprise networking protocols including TCP/IP and SNMP/RMON Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments using collaboration and workflow tools such as Jira and Confluence Top 5 Must-Have Technical Skills Cisco IOS, Nexus, and Arista network infrastructure Palo Alto firewalls and F5 load balancers WAN networking and enterprise branch connectivity support VMware VeloCloud, Meraki networking technologies, and cloud networking concepts Network monitoring, incident management, and enterprise operations support Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related technical field preferred Preferred Skills 2+ years of people management experience including mentoring, coaching, hiring, and performance management Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or global networking environments Awareness and understanding of AWS or Azure cloud technologies and services Experience with ServiceNow and enterprise ITSM processes Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Experience improving operational outcomes through process improvement and proactive leadership Work Environment Fast-paced enterprise IT operations environment supporting global infrastructure operations Responsibility for supporting over 6,000 branch locations and multiple international data centers Collaboration with infrastructure, engineering, security, operations, and vendor teams On-call escalation and critical incident response responsibilities within a 24/7 support model Focus on operational excellence, continuous improvement, and enterprise-scale network reliability Apply Now Share This Post
