Senior Backend Engineer – Pulse Nexus Platform (W2 Only)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to serve as the technical anchor for the Pulse Nexus platform. This role will lead the design and implementation of the workflow engine powering the six-phase ELT Deck Automation process, including automated data generation, CoS review, consolidation, CCO approval, output variant generation, and Delta Deck production.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and build scalable backend systems and workflow orchestration
• Own the core API layer, including API contracts and SLA enforcement
• Migrate the existing proof-of-concept API from internal infrastructure to a production-hosted environment before the July 26 milestone
• Drive architecture decisions independently and proactively identify technical risks
• Lead implementation efforts with minimal oversight

Required Skills:
• Strong Python development experience
• Expertise in REST API design and backend architecture
• Experience with cloud-hosted services (AWS preferred)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
