Salesforce Scrum Master

Position Summary
The Salesforce Scrum Master acts as a servant leader for one or more cross-functional Agile teams, focusing on the delivery of Salesforce-based applications. The role involves guiding the team on Agile principles, removing impediments, facilitating ceremonies, and ensuring Salesforce platform enhancements are delivered efficiently and with high quality.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitation of Scrum Ceremonies: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for Salesforce developers, administrators, and testers.
Impediment Removal: Proactively identify and remove blockers hindering the team's progress, ensuring a smooth flow of development and configuration tasks.
Backlog Management: Work closely with Product Owners to manage the Product Backlog, ensuring user stories are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for development (Definition of Ready).
Salesforce Best Practices: Ensure the team follows Salesforce development standards, including proper version control, environment management (sandboxes), and validation rules.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Sales/Service stakeholders, QA, Security, and IT teams to align with broader company strategic goals.
Metrics & Reporting: Track team velocity, burndown charts, and other Agile metrics to identify areas for continuous improvement and report on sprint progress to stakeholders.
Servant Leadership: Coach the team in self-organization, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Experience
Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with significant experience supporting Salesforce delivery teams. Salesforce Knowledge: Understanding of Salesforce architecture, Sales/Service/Marketing Clouds, or Data Cloud, including experience with Salesforce release and deployment concepts. Agile Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent.
Tools: Proficient in Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile project management tools.
Communication: Excellent facilitation and communication skills to interface with technical teams and business stakeholders.
