Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday | Sunday - Thursday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM EST

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with hands-on enterprise data center experience to support critical physical infrastructure operations within a highly regulated environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in rack-and-stack activities, structured cabling, hardware break-fix, and data center operational support.

This role requires collaboration with engineering teams, vendors, and remote support staff to maintain secure, resilient, and highly available data center environments.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy server and network hardware within enterprise data center environments

Perform rack-and-stack installations and structured copper/fiber cabling

Support hardware break-fix activities and asset management processes

Understand and support data center power, cooling, and physical security controls

Follow formal change, incident, and access management procedures

Collaborate with internal engineering teams, vendors, and remote hands support

Maintain accurate documentation and operational records

Assist in monitoring and supporting network/system infrastructure operations

Support implementation and maintenance of LAN/WAN environments

Required Skills

Hands-on enterprise data center operations experience

Experience with:

Rack-and-stack deployments

Structured copper and fiber cabling

Hardware break-fix support

Asset management

Understanding of:

Power and cooling systems

Physical security controls

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred Skills

Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, CMDB, and DCIM tools

Administrative/support experience within infrastructure environments

Soft Skills

Strong teamwork and collaboration

Detail-oriented and dependable

Ability to work within structured operational procedures

Adaptability in fast-paced infrastructure environments

Education & Experience

3-6 years of relevant infrastructure/data center experience required

Degree preferred; equivalent hands-on experience considered
