Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
As our Global Product Manager, you will manage the Service product portfolio roadmap, including documentation, support materials, promotion, and training needs. The ideal candidate will identify opportunities to deliver service to meet customer needs more efficiently, while building internal eservice competence. You will be the principal marketing participant with the Global Service team within Mettler Toledo, identifying gaps in our service offerings and standardizing to global service templates and processes. You will develop and implement marketing plans to build market awareness and adoption of our service offerings by customers across all industries. Working with the Thornton Application Engineering and Training team, you will define training opportunities to build internal service competence across the Mettler Toledo organization for our products.
The ideal candidate will also manage additional assigned Thornton sensors to expand company presence and process analytics growth worldwide. Focus will be on Flow, Turbidity, pH, Dissolved Oxygen, and Dissolved Ozone. You will manage documentation, promotion, and maintenance of product lines. You will work with strategic suppliers where necessary to source products and support new product implementation, and you will develop and implement marketing plans for product introduction, and technical sales training and tradeshow support for in-person and virtual settings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Identifying opportunities to modify or enhance our service offerings to better support customers, while developing and executing plans to deliver those enhancements.
Communicating information to facilitate service sales growth activities, including monitoring customer satisfaction and ensuring that the products, services, and information are meeting the markets needs and taking corrective action to address deficiencies.
Working with local and global R&D teams, developing tools to deliver service documents and capabilities to service teams globally.
Defining service training requirements and structure to ensure competence in service teams.
Developing tools and processes to enhance service attachment at point of sale and contract extensions, to deliver better user experience.
Providing full product lifecycle support of the Thornton sensors portfolio, including yearly sales forecasts and pricing updates, quality evaluations, strategic initiatives, and obsolescence updates.
