Automation Engineer (Selenium)

Job Description:

Primary Skills

PC Insurance Domain experience Handson automation experience with Selenium or Katalon

Strong Knowledge on P and C Insurance Domain

Minimum Experience 10 yrs in Software Testing Quality Assurance

Should be able to Develop and execute test cases scripts plans and procedures manual and automated Should be able to review test cases following the review process

Should possess strong analytical problem solving and troubleshooting abilities with quick adaptation to new technology methodologies and systems

Should be able to triage Defects and perform Root Cause analysis on Defects

Proficient in Test Management Tools Rally, JIRA.

Should have Detailed and effective written and verbal communication skills

Respond to all requests from internal and client team members in a timely professional manner

Comfortable in handling Automation as well as Manual test case execution

Mentor Test Team and coordinate with

Experience in Framework Designing

Evaluate and suggest frameworks that are fit for purpose to expand the automation suite architecture

Identify Test Scenarios for automation

Build Maintain Automated Test Scripts and also prepare Test Results Reports and Publish them

Should be able to track the Project Metrics relevant to Automation and also prepare Test Strategy Plans to achieve the milestone on time

Must Have

Selenium or Katalon hands on experience along with Framework design

API test Hands on Experience

Hands on experience with CICD pipeline implementation SCM Tool Jenkins GIT

Well versed with Agile Methodology

Sound Knowledge of Testing Framework

Sound knowledge on Database concepts and hands on writing basiccomplex SQL queries

Good Experience in handling headless Automation

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSRESPONSIBILITIES

Works within QA team to develop and implement automation scripts

Participates in functional walkthroughs

Participates in the analysis of new requirements and uses cases to develop test approach and deliverables test approach architecture scenarios test conditions test cases test data and expected results

Conducts adhoc and exploratory testing

Participates in the development of test coverage approach and maintains test plan in test management tool

Develops custom tools utilities or approaches as required to test the application and features for functional and nonfunctional requirements

Evaluates system behaviour prior to and during load tests

Enter test cases analyzes results and documents defects in defect tracking tool

Participates in the release management and quality process to validate those solutions meet business requirements

Participates in quality management reviews as outlined in the Quality Management practice to ensure adherence to all quality management plans and standards

Perform other related activities and duties as required
