Job Description
Our Client, a Retail Pharmacy company, is looking for a Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician for their Remote location.
Responsibilities:
Apply and validate network configurations (routers, switches) during store deployments.
Execute on-the-spot changes to network settings in coordination with ROC and field technicians.
Administer the technology deployment plan to support the rollout of new solutions, enhancements, or upgrades.
Perform hardware upgrades and replacements for network equipment as needed.
Monitor store network performance and respond to incidents in real-time.
Troubleshoot connectivity issues and escalate complex problems to senior engineers when necessary.
Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Requirements:
Associate or bachelor's degree in information technology, Networking, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in NOC, network support, or deployment role.
Prior experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar technical support environment.
Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Familiarity with network monitoring and ticketing tools.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with remote and on-site teams.
Preferred Skills:
Hands-on experience with Mist by Juniper for switch and wireless network management.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Experience of ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
